Section 22-103(a) bars owners from letting livestock run at large or keeping them in any street or public place, and §22-110 governs disposal of dead livestock. The county animal code does not itself set acreage or head-count limits for keeping livestock — those come from your parcel's zoning district under the Chatham County-Savannah NewZO. Established farms are further shielded from nuisance suits by Georgia's Right to Farm Act, O.C.G.A. § 41-1-7.
Allowing livestock to run at large is a Chapter 22 violation punishable by a $100-$1,000 fine per count and impoundment (§22-106); zoning limits are enforced separately by county code compliance.
