Outdoor residential cultivation technically permitted but impractical given visibility requirements and Colorado's short growing season. Landlords may prohibit cultivation in rental units under C.R.S. §38-12-302. HOAs may also restrict. Growing for sale requires a state Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) commercial license under C.R.S. §44-10-101 et seq. Possession limits: 1 oz for residents, 1 oz for nonresidents.
