Plants must be in a locked, secure area not visible to the public from outside the residence. Landlords may prohibit cultivation in rental units via lease. Anne Arundel County has not adopted additional home cultivation restrictions beyond state law. Odor control recommended to avoid nuisance complaints. Growing for sale requires a state Maryland Cannabis Administration license. Sharing under 1.5 oz with adults is legal; selling without license is a crime.
