Huntington Station is a CDP within the Town of Huntington in Suffolk County, NY. Open burning is restricted to recreational fires under Town Code Chapter 111 (Fire Prevention), Section 111-97. Fire pits cannot exceed 3 feet in diameter or 2 feet in height, must be at least 15 feet from any structure, use only seasoned wood (no trash or brush), and must be attended at all times. Residential brush burning is prohibited year-round under 6 NYCRR Part 215.
