North Plymouth is a census-designated village within the Town of Plymouth, MA. Open burning is governed by the Plymouth Fire Department under MassDEP 310 CMR 7.07: permits are required, the burn season runs January 15 to April 15, hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the fire must be at least 75 feet from any building, and only brush from the permitted parcel may be burned. The Plymouth Fire Prevention office issues permits beginning December 22.
