Riverside County generally prohibits any exterior signage advertising a home occupation. Murrieta generally prohibits exterior signs for home-based businesses in residential zones. The home occupation must show no visible evidence of commercial use from the street, meaning business signs, illuminated displays, window lettering, and freestanding advertising are not permitted.
