Overnight Parking: Anza vs Temecula

Unincorporated Riverside County has no countywide overnight street-parking ban. Vehicles may remain on public roads but cannot stay in one spot more than 72 hours under California Vehicle Code §22651(k). Overnight camping in a vehicle on public roads is prohibited under Ordinance 915 where posted and in county parks under park rules.

Temecula does not have a citywide ban on overnight on-street parking, but vehicles cannot remain parked in one spot for more than 72 hours under California Vehicle Code §22651(k). HOA-governed neighborhoods (including most master-planned communities) often impose stricter overnight restrictions on private streets. Oversized vehicles and RVs face additional limits.
