No. In the street setback area, the solid portion of a fence or wall may not exceed 42 inches per the Planning Department's published standards. You may add up to 24 inches of open fencing (lattice, wrought iron) on top of the 42-inch solid base.
Do I need a permit for a 6-foot fence?
