Tree Replacement Requirements: Corona vs Mead Valley

When street trees or required landscape trees are removed in Corona, replacement is required at minimum 1:1, often 2:1 for mature specimens. Replacement species must come from the city's approved street tree list and be planted within 90 days of removal.

When oak trees are removed under Ordinance No. 559, replacement is required at ratios ranging from 3:1 to 10:1 depending on the size of the removed tree. Replacement trees must be native species, typically 15-gallon minimum, with a 3-5 year establishment monitoring period.
