Can I park my work van or box truck at my house in unincorporated DuPage County?

Not outdoors in a residential district. DuPage County Zoning Ordinance Sec. 37-7.4-1.h.8 (and parallel provisions for R-1 through R-7) requires Household Accessory Equipment to be stored inside an enclosed structure, and front yards plus corner side yards may not be used for accessory off-street parking (Sec. 37-7.4-4.c). If you live inside a city or village, check that municipality's code as well.

No. Chapter 37 of the DuPage County Code applies only to unincorporated DuPage County. Cities and villages adopt their own zoning and parking ordinances. Check the local municipal code (and any subdivision/HOA covenants) for commercial-vehicle rules inside city limits.
