The Code of Ordinances contains no Chapter or Article regulating short-term rentals (rentals under 30 days). However, STR operators must collect and remit the 6% Texas state Hotel Occupancy Tax under Tax Code Chapter 156 and the Rosenberg local 7% Hotel Occupancy Tax.
