Why was my Wyoming, MI recycling cart left unemptied?
Your licensed hauler (Advanced Disposal, Arrowaste, Kamps, Republic Services, or Waste Management) tag-and-skips contaminated loads - if your cart contains bagged recyclables (everything in plastic bags), film plastic, food waste, electronics, or other non-accepted items, the driver leaves a tag and does not empty the cart. Remove the contamination and set the cart out for your next scheduled collection. Repeated contamination can trigger cart removal under your hauler's service contract. Recycling contamination is NOT a City code violation, but illegal dumping if items scatter into the street IS a violation under Chapter 30.
