Solicitor Permits

Canyon County does not maintain a single county-wide door-to-door solicitor permit. Door-to-door commercial sales in unincorporated Canyon County are governed by Idaho Code § 48-603A (door-to-door sales contracts and 3-day rescission) and by the individual city codes of Caldwell, Nampa, Middleton, Wilder, Greenleaf, and other incorporated cities. Religious, political and charitable canvassing is constitutionally protected. Homeowners' primary local tool is posting 'No Soliciting' signs and reporting trespass under Idaho Code § 18-7008.
