The Northwest Fire District, Rincon Valley Fire District, and other districts serving unincorporated areas may impose seasonal or permanent fire restrictions during drought conditions. Propane and natural gas fire features are generally exempt from no-burn day restrictions as they do not produce particulate emissions. Water or a fire extinguisher must be readily available. Unattended fires are prohibited.
