Outdoor music in Collier County must stay within Table I limits (residential 60 dB(A) day / 55 night; commercial 65 / 60). Loudspeakers over public property need an annual permit and may run only Monday-Saturday during daylight hours.
Outdoor amplified entertainment at a commercial or nonresidential venue within 2,500 feet of a residence needs an Amplified Sound Permit (Sec. 54-92(g)), and all such activity must meet the Table I sound limits. Separately, Sec. 54-94 bars loudspeakers or public-address systems over public property or right-of-way without an annual county permit, and allows their use only Monday through Saturday during daylight hours. Community events use permits issued under the Land Development Code. Cities such as Naples and Marco Island set their own outdoor-event and amplified-music rules.
Permits may be revoked for noncompliance, and outdoor-music noise is fined under Sec. 54-90 at $100/$250/$500 per violation.
