Fulton County Zoning Article XXXIII §33.4 allows up to two temporary signs not exceeding 6 sq ft each on residential property advertising garage/yard sales. Signs may not be placed in the public right-of-way (within ~10 ft of pavement on most local streets), on utility poles, or in median strips. Atlanta Code §16-28A.014 limits temporary residential signs to 6 sq ft. Signs must be removed within 24 hours of the sale ending.
