Worcester County, MA Sign Regulations: Garage Sale Signs (2026)

Garage sale sign regulation in Worcester County is governed by local sign bylaws adopted under MGL c. 40A. Massachusetts has no statewide yard-sale sign law. Typical Worcester County regulations allow one on-premise temporary sign advertising a garage sale up to 4-6 sq ft on the property where the sale is occurring without a permit.
