Signs may be posted no earlier than 24 hours before the sale and must be removed within 24 hours after the sale ends. Garage sales themselves are limited to two per calendar year per household under most residential zoning provisions, with each sale lasting no more than 3 consecutive days. Commercial garage sale operations are prohibited in residential zones. Signs must not obstruct sight distance at driveways or intersections.
