Maine Statewide Rule
Maine has no statewide overnight on-street parking ban. Winter parking bans (a near-universal Maine practice to allow plowing) and overnight residential parking limits are set by municipal ordinance under 30-A MRS § 3001 home-rule authority. The statewide baseline under 29-A MRS § 2068 still applies (10-foot passage, 300-foot sight line, no parking on signed restrictions).
