Wyoming Vape and E-Cigarette Retail Rules

Wyoming statutes regulate vapor products and electronic nicotine delivery systems alongside traditional tobacco. Retailers must check government-issued photo identification before selling to anyone appearing under 30 and may not sell to anyone under 21 under W.S. 35-14-301. Wyoming participates in the federal Synar program, conducting compliance checks on retailers. Self-service displays of vape products are restricted, vending machine sales are limited to adult-only locations, and retailers selling without compliance face administrative fines and potential license action.

Selling vape or e-cigarette products to underage purchasers is a misdemeanor, with civil penalties starting around $50 for first offenses and increasing for repeat violations; license suspension may follow repeated noncompliance.
