Lee County's Land Development Code ties livestock to agricultural, agricultural-transitional, and estate zoning categories, with density and setback standards; standard residential zoning typically does not permit cattle, horses, hogs, or goats. Bona fide commercial agricultural establishments are largely excluded from the animal ordinance except for cruelty investigations.
