Aurora permits regulated marijuana delivery from licensed retailers to private residences within city limits, requiring state Marijuana Enforcement Division delivery permits and city endorsement under Title 13.
Aurora authorizes marijuana delivery consistent with Colorado HB19-1234 and HB21-1317. Licensed retail and medical marijuana stores must obtain a state delivery permit from the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) and a corresponding Aurora endorsement. Deliveries are limited to private residences within Aurora city limits, are prohibited at college dormitories and federal land, and may not exceed daily purchase limits. Drivers must be 21 or older, employed by the licensee, and use approved vehicles with logged manifests. Deliveries to hotels, public spaces, and Buckley Space Force Base are prohibited. Aurora caps delivery fees as set by ordinance.
Unpermitted delivery, sales to minors, or deliveries to prohibited locations result in license suspension, fines, and possible revocation by Aurora Marijuana Enforcement Division and state MED.
