Commercial Vehicle Restrictions: Anza vs Corona

Riverside County Ordinance 348 (the county zoning ordinance) limits storage of commercial vehicles, semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment on residentially zoned parcels. In rural zones on larger parcels, a limited number of owner-operator trucks may be parked, but truck yards and fleet storage require commercial zoning or a conditional use permit.

Corona prohibits parking commercial vehicles over a certain weight or length on residential streets and in residential zones, except for active loading/unloading. Vehicles with commercial signage, large trucks, trailers, and equipment are generally restricted to commercial or industrial zones. Violations may result in citations and tow.
