Can I park my work truck or semi-trailer on my residential street?
Not if it is a commercial vehicle over 10,000 lbs GVWR or any commercial trailer. Ordinance 413 Section 1.17 prohibits that in residential districts of the unincorporated county.
What if I'm just making a delivery?
Deliveries and pickups to a building on the restricted street are exempt, as are utility, government, transit and emergency vehicles, under Section 1.17(C).

Can I park my work truck on a residential street in Menifee?
Only if its manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating is 10,000 pounds or less. Commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds GVWR, and commercial trailers or semi-trailers of any weight, may not park on residential streets (MMC 12.20.140(a)).
Are delivery trucks exempt from Menifee's commercial vehicle parking ban?
Yes. The ban does not apply to commercial vehicles actively making pickups or deliveries, vehicles performing a service to a property in the block where parked, PUC-regulated buses, public-entity or licensed contractor vehicles working on public property or utilities, or authorized emergency vehicles (MMC 12.20.140(c)).
Can a semi-trailer be dropped on a Menifee street?
No. Any commercial trailer or semi-trailer, regardless of weight, is prohibited from parking on any street or highway within a residential district (MMC 12.20.140(a)), and unattached trailers are not allowed on the street at any time per the city's Code Enforcement FAQ.
