Are dogs allowed at Brackett's Landing or the Edmonds beach?
No. ECC 5.05.060 prohibits dogs entirely from Brackett's Landing Park North and the Shoreline Sanctuary Conservation Area, including the parking lot, walkway, beach, and water. Leashed dogs are allowed on the waterfront walkway south of Brackett's.
What happens if my dog is repeatedly caught at large?
ECC 5.05.050 treats the first three offenses as civil infractions, but the fourth and any subsequent at-large violation is charged as a misdemeanor in Edmonds Municipal Court. The dog can also be impounded each time.
