How long can my RV stay parked on the street?
No more than 72 consecutive hours, the same limit that applies to any other vehicle under RMC 14.40.110. The RV must also be operable and have current DMV registration and tabs.
Can I live in my RV in Richmond?
Not on a regular residential property. Recreational vehicles may not be used as additional living space. The City does operate a Safe Parking Sites Pilot Program (RMC 9.40.018) that permits up to four inhabited vehicles at approved host sites such as community assembly, government, or quasi-public facilities.
