Cumberland County has no county-level drone ordinance. Recreational drone use in unincorporated and municipal areas of the county is governed by FAA recreational rules (49 U.S.C. Β§ 44809) and Maine's drone statute, 25 M.R.S. Β§ 4501, which primarily restricts law-enforcement drone use.
