White Plains does not currently enforce a general juvenile curfew ordinance. Minors are subject to NY Family Court Act PINS (Person In Need of Supervision) provisions but no citywide nighttime curfew is on the books.
Unlike some larger NY cities (Rochester, Syracuse) which maintain nightly curfews, White Plains relies on state PINS jurisdiction and parental responsibility rather than a municipal curfew ordinance. Westchester County does not impose a county-wide curfew either. Temporary emergency curfews may be declared by the Mayor under emergency powers during civil unrest or natural disasters.
