Chapter 15 of the Santa Rosa County Code sets park rules. Section 15-37 (Closed areas and closing hours) makes it unlawful to enter or use any site, area, or portion that is closed to public use - closing hours are posted at each park. Section 15-29(b) prohibits overnight parking of any vehicle, camper, trailer, or towed conveyance unless posted. Camping is unlawful except at designated, permitted sites (Sec. 15-26), and quiet must be maintained in camping areas between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Alcohol is barred in county parks except as authorized (allowed on Navarre Beach public beaches), and disorderly conduct (Sec. 15-32) can lead to ejection or arrest. On Navarre Beach, items must be off the beach two hours
Entering a closed park area, parking overnight, or camping without a permit is unlawful under Chapter 15; disorderly persons may be forcibly ejected or arrested with no refund of fees.
