Boynton Beach enforces a 25-foot corner visibility triangle at street intersections and 10-foot triangle at driveways. Fences, walls, and vegetation over 30 inches prohibited within the triangle.
Land Development Regulations Chapter 4 Article II require a 25-foot by 25-foot sight triangle at every street intersection measured from the curb lines. Driveway triangles are 10 feet by 10 feet. Nothing over 30 inches tall may obstruct the triangle: fences, walls, hedges, signs, and landscaping all restricted. This applies even to existing fences that become non-conforming. City engineering reviews plats for compliance and may require removal at owner expense when a hazard is reported.
Notice to remove within 30 days. Failure: $250 fine and city removal at owner cost.
