Corner lots in unincorporated PBC must maintain a clear 25-foot visibility triangle measured from the intersection of curb lines. Fences, walls, hedges and signs over 30 inches are prohibited within the triangle.
PBC ULDC Β§5.B.1.A.6 establishes the sight-distance triangle to protect motorist and pedestrian visibility. Even Florida-Friendly landscaping must be kept under 30 inches in the triangle area. Mature shade trees with limbs above 8 feet are permitted. The same standard applies to driveway-and-street intersections in addition to street-and-street corners.
Code Enforcement orders trim or removal within 10 days; $100 fine per day for noncompliance.
