Under Kennesaw Ordinance §62-6 (Cleanliness of Premises), property owners and anyone controlling property within the city are prohibited from allowing grass, rank vegetation, kudzu, underbrush, or weeds to exceed 12 inches in height. Accumulation of brush, garbage, garden trash, rubbish, or noxious material that creates breeding places for mosquitoes or snakes, a fire hazard, or a nuisance is also prohibited. This applies to both occupied and vacant properties. Code Enforcement patrols regularly and issues notices of violation with a compliance deadline before citing to Municipal Court.
