Outdoor music at a home, patio or venue in unincorporated Manatee County must meet the same § 2-21-34 decibel limits — 60 dBA daytime, 55 dBA after 11 p.m. — measured at the neighbor's property, and can be cited as a noise disturbance without a meter.
There is no standalone outdoor-music provision; backyard bands, patio speakers and party music are governed by § 2-21-34. Sound at the receiving property must stay under 60 dBA / 65 dBC daytime (to midnight Fri/Sat/pre-holiday) and 55 dBA / 60 dBC overnight. Continuous music is measured with a 5-dBA reduction. Because § 2-21-34(1) independently bans any 'noise disturbance,' loud outdoor music can be cited on the reasonable-person standard even below the numeric caps if it disturbs neighbors, weighing time of day, duration, and proximity to sleeping areas. Permitted special events are exempt (§ 2-21-33(11)).
Enforced under § 2-21-35: officers may allow ~15 minutes to correct, then $100 / $250 / $500 escalating civil fines within 365 days, or a second-degree misdemeanor notice to appear.
