Bradenton's Code of Ordinances Chapter 50 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic) and Part III (Land Use Regulations) regulate residential driveway and front-yard parking. Vehicles in residential zones must be parked on an approved driveway or paved parking surface. Recreational vehicles, boats and trailers may not be parked in the front yard except temporarily for loading, unloading and cleaning. Vacation rental vehicles must use the driveway only.
Bradenton (pop. 55,687, Manatee County) regulates residential parking through Chapter 50 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic, https://library.municode.com/fl/bradenton/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=PTIICOOR_CH50MOVETR) and Part III (Land Use Regulations, https://library.municode.com/fl/bradenton/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=PTIIILAUSRE). Vehicles in residential districts must be parked on an approved hard-surface driveway, paved parking pad, or carport/garage β not on the lawn or in unpaved areas. Section 116-X of the Land Use Regulations explicitly prohibits the parking of recreational vehicles, boats, and trailers within the front yard, except for temporary loading, unloading and cleaning (typically up to 24 hours). All vehicles associated with vacation rentals (registered short-term rentals) shall be parked within a driveway or parking area located on the premises and in compliance with all applicable City ordinances. The City's Building and Permitting Division (https://cityofbradenton.com/permitting) reviews driveway expansions for compliance with impervious-coverage limits. Chapter 18 (Buildings and Building Regulations) requires permits for new or expanded driveways that change a curb cut.
Front-yard RV/boat/trailer storage and parking on unpaved surfaces are code-enforcement violations; first-offense fines are typically $100-$250, with daily continuing-violation penalties under Code Section 1-12 (general penalty) up to $500/day. Bradenton Code Enforcement may seek a magistrate order for removal.
