Outdoor music in unincorporated Pinal County must stay under the property-line dBA limits (residential 60 day / 55 night) and inaudible beyond 125 feet. Bars, restaurants and resorts get no crowd-noise exemption; Board-approved special events are exempt.
Amplified outdoor music is governed by Section 7.0 (audible no more than 125 feet from the property line) and the Table 1 dBA limits. Non-amplified crowd noise from school, governmental or community groups is exempt under Section 9.0(C), but that exemption expressly excludes restaurants, bars, inns and resorts. Section 9.0(M) exempts any 'special event as approved by the Board of Supervisors,' and Section 9.0(N) allows motorized sporting events that cleared site-plan review up to 120 dBA at the property line. Otherwise outdoor concerts and patio music must meet the standard limits.
Class 1 misdemeanor (disorderly conduct) and/or civil fine up to $750/day; each day is a separate offense.
