Clackamas County has no ordinance dictating how residents use their own driveway day to day, but the Zoning & Development Ordinance (ZDO) Section 1015 sets minimum off-street parking that must be provided, and new driveways/approaches onto a county road need a DTD entry permit.
There is no county rule capping how many cars you keep in your own driveway (vehicles must simply be licensed and operable). Instead, ZDO Section 1015 (Parking and Loading) requires that off-street parking be provided in defined, accessible, usable areas with adequate maneuvering room, per Tables 1015-1 and 1015-2. Building or altering a driveway/approach connecting to a county road requires an Entry Permit from the Department of Transportation and Development under Code Ch. 7.03 (ORS 374.305-374.325). Cities administer their own driveway and access standards inside city limits.
Zoning enforcement for parking that violates ZDO 1015; unpermitted road approach is a Ch. 7.03 right-of-way violation.
