Collier County caps residential-district vehicles through Section 130-97: only trucks of one ton or less, and no taller than 7.5 ft, wider than 7.0 ft, or longer than 25 ft, are exempt. Larger commercial vehicles must be concealed or garaged; oversized RVs and boats follow Section 130-96.
Collier County does not publish a single oversized-vehicle ordinance, but size limits appear in two places. Code Section 130-97 exempts from the commercial-vehicle prohibition only automobiles, passenger vans, and pickups of one ton or less that do not exceed 7.5 feet high, 7.0 feet wide, or 25 feet long; anything larger must be garaged or screened in the rear. Recreational vehicles, large boats, and trailers are governed by Section 130-96, which restricts storage on residential lots to a rear yard, carport, enclosed building, or waterway davits. Oversized loads moving on county roads are separately regulated through FDOT permitting.
Code Enforcement issues notices for oversized commercial or recreational vehicles stored in violation; unresolved cases carry daily fines and liens until corrected.
