Lucas County has no countywide oversized-vehicle parking rule. Toledo restricts large vehicles: in the Central Business District, vehicles over 24 feet may not stand for loading between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. without a permit, and commercial vehicles are barred from residential streets.
Limits on large trucks, buses, semis and long trailers come from the city or township, not the county. Toledo's parking code (TMC 351) addresses oversized vehicles chiefly through its commercial-vehicle ban in residential districts and a loading-hours limit downtown: vehicles exceeding twenty-four feet in length may not stand for loading or unloading in the Central Business District between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (except Sundays and holidays) without a permit. Unincorporated townships may cap oversized-vehicle storage through ORC Ch. 519 zoning. State law also caps vehicle dimensions on the road (ORC 5577), but static residential parking limits are local.
Municipal parking citation in Toledo (commercial/oversized in residential or downtown loading violation); township zoning citation elsewhere. County does not enforce.
