Oklahoma City STR permits (Ch. 59, Art. XII) require one off-street parking space per bedroom. Edmond and other county cities follow similar rules. Unincorporated areas have no STR parking requirements.
Oklahoma County has no unified STR parking regulation. Oklahoma City, the county seat, enforces STRs under Municipal Code Chapter 59, Article XII (adopted 2019, amended 2022), requiring one off-street parking space per bedroom as part of the Type 1/Type 2 STR permit. Edmond (Code Β§22.7) requires a parking plan with the STR license application. Midwest City and Del City restrict STR guest parking to driveways and approved off-street areas. Unincorporated Oklahoma County (Sheriff jurisdiction) has no STR permit system and thus no parking rules for STRs. Street parking rules vary by city. HOAs across suburban OKC frequently impose stricter guest parking caps. Hosts must disclose parking arrangements in listings per OKC Β§59-12250.
OKC parking plan non-compliance: permit revocation under Β§59-12260; fines $100 to $500. Street parking violations per city code.
