Nebraska Statewide Rule
Nebraska's minimum wage rose to $15.00 per hour on January 1, 2026 under voter Initiative 433. LB258 (2025) caps later annual increases at 1.75% and allows a lower youth/training wage. Whether a city may set a higher local minimum wage is disputed and in litigation.
