Either 2 or 3 hours, depending on the block, enforced Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On N. Salem Street between Saunders Street and Chatham Street, the limit is 2 hours. On S. Salem Street from Chatham Street to south of Moore Street, on E. Chatham Street and W. Chatham Street, and on Saunders Street, the limit is 3 hours. In the off-street lots, the Depot Lot is 2-hour, and the Seaboard Lot and Saunders Lot (spaces adjacent to businesses) are 3-hour. A handful of 15-minute spaces are marked on N. Salem Street (one on each side), in the Seaboard Lot (2 spaces), the Saunders Lot (1 space), and the Depot Lot (1 space). Restrictions are not enforced on weekends or holidays. By state law, vehicles displaying an accessible parking decal or placard are not restricted by time limits. Citations result in a civil penalty payable to the Billing & Collections division at Apex Town Hall, 73 Hunter Street.
