Who collects trash in Chino?

Waste Management (WM) is the city's exclusive franchise hauler. Customer service: 1-800-423-9986. The city's Environmental Services Division (909-334-3289) administers the franchise.

What time do my carts need to be out?

Carts must be at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your scheduled service day. You may put them out the evening before, but per Chino Municipal Code 8.16.070 they must be removed within 24 hours after pickup.

Can I use my own trash cans instead of the WM carts?

No. Single-family residents must use the three city-issued 95-gallon carts. Items left outside the carts will not be collected.

You can set carts out after 5:00 p.m. the night before collection, and they must be off the curb by midnight on your collection day.

Do I have to use the green organics cart?
