Political and non-commercial message signs are permitted in all districts and are exempt from sign permit requirements. Signs are limited to six (6) square feet in area in residential districts and twenty (20) square feet in non-residential districts.
Temporary garage/yard sale signs are allowed without a permit but may not exceed 9 square feet each. They may go up no more than 24 hours before the sale and must be removed within 24 hours after, and never in the public right-of-way.
