Austin City Code Β§8-1-2 closes all city parks including Zilker, Barton Springs (pool area closed at 10 PM, greenbelt open 5 AM-10 PM), and Town Lake trail from 10 PM to 5 AM. Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk has extended hours. Travis County Parks (Pace Bend, Hippie Hollow, Reimers Ranch, Milton Reimers) close at varying times posted at each park entrance, typically sunset October-March and 10 PM April-September. Camping is only permitted at designated campgrounds with reservation. Violations under Travis County Code Ch. 82 are Class C misdemeanors with fines up to $500.
