St. Lucie County does not set a numeric park curfew in its general code. County parks, beaches, and natural preserves are open during daylight hours only, from dawn to dusk, and visitors are expected to leave by sunset unless a facility posts different hours.
St. Lucie County's Code of Ordinances contains no single countywide numeric park-curfew section; instead the county Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department operates parks, beaches, and preserves on daylight-hours-only schedules, generally dawn to dusk. Individual sites, boat ramps, and lit sports complexes may post extended or different hours, and reserved-facility permits set their own end times. On the coast, additional nesting-season restrictions apply: campfires and bonfires are prohibited on or seaward of the primary dune, and beachfront lighting is limited under the sea-turtle ordinance (LDC 6.04.02). Municipal parks in Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce keep their own posted hours. Always check the posted sign at the specific park or the county Parks and Recreation page before an after-dark visit.
Remaining in a county park, beach, or preserve after posted closing (dusk) can result in ejection and a trespass warning by park staff or the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office. Beach campfires seaward of the dune are separately prohibited.
