Continuous cooling noise must stay within Sec. 17.84.040: 75 dBA on industrial land, 55 dBA daytime and 50 dBA overnight where it reaches homes. Home-based mining is ordinary residential use, subject to the same property-line noise limits.
There are no crypto-specific penalties. A commercial mining operation outside a manufacturing zone, or without a required permit, is a zoning violation, and noise over the Sec. 17.84.040 limits is enforced by the City.
