Brooklyn's proximity to JFK and LaGuardia means virtually all commercial flights require LAANC or FAA airspace authorization. MOME (Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment) coordinates drone filming permits along with MOME film permits. Delivery drones are not yet legal for commercial package delivery in NYC. Violating §10-126 carries fines up to $1,000 per violation in addition to FAA penalties.
