Unlike Oregon or New York City, Nebraska has no statewide predictive scheduling, advance-notice, or right-to-rest law. The Wage and Hour Act, Neb. Rev. Failure to pay agreed wages for scheduled work can support a Wage Payment and Collection Act claim, with remedies including unpaid wages, costs, attorney's fees, and a statutory penalty up to two times the unpaid wages on judgment.
