However, the finished surface of the fence must face adjacent properties under Chapter 43, Article V. Property surveys are advisable before construction. Nebraska's partition fence statute (Neb. Rev. Stat. Β§34-101) applies primarily to agricultural settings and generally not to urban residential fences. Disputes between neighbors are typically resolved civilly.
