Local governments may not adopt installation, container, or licensing standards that conflict with state rules.
Operating an LP-gas business without a state license, or installing equipment in violation of NFPA 58, is a first-degree misdemeanor under Section 527.13 with administrative fines up to $5,000 per violation.
